Country Road Drive Away Awning
New for 2010, Outwell's Country Road awning is aimed at the Bongonaut who likes to inject a little bit of luxury in to their camping experience. The Country Road uses a combination of upright steel poles (excellent in windy conditions) and fibre glass poles in the roof. This is a 2-berth awning that measures 2.4m (length) x 3.4m (width) x 2.1m (height). Packed away it measures the size of a large hold all. There is a zip-in flysheet. The inner tent and carpet (yes, that's right! carpet!) are optional extras. The interior is lit by large panoramic windows and accessed by a front door that ensures excellent ventilation. The rear of the awning unzips to give access to your Bongo, and it is attached using figure-of-8 channels (not supplied). It is relatively easy to pitch, and comes with a few nice extras such as luminous, pre-attached guys and adjustable pegging points.
