Easy Camp Venice 200 Awning
Over the last 2 years the staff here at Bongo Towers have tested a variety of awnings and we don't think you will get better value for money than the Easycamp Venice. Not only does it include an inner tent, but also a sturdy groundsheet. It can be erected in about 10 minutes (once you're used to it). Only available in olive green. Total weight (unpacked) 16.7kg.
The awning is fully free standing, and the side nearest the vehicle zips up when you are away. An elasticated gusset means there are a number of ways of attaching the awning to the Bongo. It can be secured to the Bongo guttering (or awning hooks if you have an elevating roof) through the use of a pole. Or you can throw guy ropes over the vehicle and secure from the other side. Or, if you have a roll-out awning on the side of the van (see picture below), you can secure it behind the Fiama box.

Ingeniously designed, there are a number of porches and windows that can be utilised according to weather conditions. And new for 2006, one of the side panels also opens. Highly recommended. |
