Re: Charger & sediment lights on then gradually lose electri

What's your advice on overheating? Had it pressure tested, bled and had all pipes replaced. We check the water levels regularly. Mechanics can't find a leak anywhere, but we think it's losing water somewhere, somehow, very slowly ... :(

Re: Charger & sediment lights on then gradually lose electri

May be a stupid question, but if we can get her started, is it safe to drive to the mechanic?

Thanks

Charger & sediment lights on then gradually lose electrics

I'm scared to ask the question as it might be expensive ... Whilst driving home in my not-often used Bongo (half hour drive), the sediment light and charger light came on together. Overheating - Replace hoses?

Some advice please for a non-mechanic technical person! We had an overheating problem with our diesel 4wd. Recommended garage checked it over and found no obvious problem (he's familiar with Bongos) - thermostat OK, no leaks, pipes and hoses intact (although old). Took it on extended test run with n...

Re: Homemade bedboards and platform removal

Any chance northerntaff's helpful notes and pictures can be made into a fact sheet? I'm not very DIY savvy so thought I'd print off all the advice, but its not proving easy! It's obviously a hot topic with many parents interested in adapting their roof access to make it more child-friendly (and cons...

Re: New starter battery advice

I've just replaced my starter battery. Its a Numax UK249 and it cost £105 from a local supplier in Bournemouth (yes - £105!) but they did fit it for me. Hope that helps.

Regards,
Jane
