Re: Advice on selling needed

Its difficult as often the prices vary vastly, just keep an eye on what others actually sell for. It could be anywhere between £1000 and 5000, its all down to how it looks and runs, I have heard a few tails of woe recently of people buying Bongos for top money but not checking them over so if yours ...

Re: First failure on Mini(bago)

I'm not sure I would use them for electrical stuff anyway, but their brake bits were good so far as I (and more importantly the MOT tester) could tell. If we had a brake pad with no friction material at all it would still pass the efficiency test on the rolling road, once out on the road performanc...

Re: First failure on Mini(bago)

Sorry no I haven't changed the Bongo ones as I hardly do any miles in it.
The made a massive difference in my Discovery, even towing heavy loads it stops on a sixpence

Re: First failure on Mini(bago)

I stopped using Euro a few years ago due to the random quality, some parts good some shocking, one of my local garages has also stopped using them last week, personally I wouldn't take the risk as in my experience I might save a few quid but the cost involved if the parts fail can be large. I now on...

Going for a good run tomorrow to see if anything shows up.

Re: Which is the best cooler box?

We get stuff delivered to work in these, they make excellent cheap toolboxes as the insulation is often twice as thick as a plastic cool box, they are about £2 in Florida, we i=used one for cold drinks it was excellent and 100 degrees most days http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Polystyrene-insulated-storage...

Re: Sold a rotten Bongo for £4,500 - please help.

If you want it done by a garage google Travis Autos St.Helens he is a nice honest bloke who has done work for me in the past to a high standard, but as its a business I think it would be more expensive, remember to mention Barnsley Auto panels as they sell sills etc for them

Re: Sold a rotten Bongo for £4,500 - please help.

If you send me a PM I know a man who may be able to help. He is a professional welder but does work in his spare time, he restored me Land Rover from scrapper to rust free in a couple of weeks to a very high standard, I can weld so know his work is good.
He is in St.Helens

Re: Burner Hobs / sink

You can buy the bits from Ebay etc but may be easier to try locally to het the right size hose tail, heres one of the many different sizes and types, a Caravan / camping shop will have all the bits
