Putting a % of veg oil in is also supposed to reduce emissions (rapeseed for preference).

... i did once see squirty egr cleaner some where always warm up a diesel thouroughly before an MOT ps not had any problems with Bongo on 70/30 Diesel rapeseed at MOT time

Exactly, that would indicate that you have/had a clean fuel tank and you use clean fuel.

Weird I have never had a problem in 12 years with rapeseed or sunflower. Changed the fuel filter a couple of times but that's all.

For the stats, add me to the list of 50-80% new rapeseed oil with zero filter or banjo issues. I've used about 500 Litres of veg oil so far.

... when I brimmed it at the start of the journey, I had put 10 litres of Rapeseed Oil in there with the diesel. Don't know how much that affects the fuel economy...?

For anyone in the Kings Lynn area there is a guy advertising on ebay £13 for 20 litres for virgin rapeseed. I collected 120 litres and can vouch for it, just not 100% convinced on the line that his supply is coming from a factory end of line run, as he told me he has a constant ...

Tesco Extra Bar Hill on A.14 nr Cambridge had boxes and boxes of Rapeseed & Sunflower Oil today.
Any 2 x 5Lt for £9.00 thats 2/3rds the price of diesel in their filling station.
