Bored with Butties phase 30

Talk about non-Bongo stuff. BUT KEEP IT CLEAN....there are children watching. Smut, filth, and anything offensive will not be tolerated and removed immediately.

Bored with Butties phase 30

This is for all you Jack Casady & Jorma Kaukonen fans out there. Ok, the Jack Casady fan and Jorma Kaukonen’s mum. Look them up on t’internet

Tuna, mash, peas & parsley sauce is one of my all-time favourite meals. Even with tinned tuna it is ace, but fresh tuna is a different thing altogether. As a meal at home you would probably do some proper mashed spuds but seeing as I’m on a limited timescale here I’ll use Smash, and also instant parsley sauce, although whipping a bit of Hollandaise sauce together in the Bongo isn’t too big a drama.

Chop the chillies up. Don’t be a wuss, leave the seeds in....

....and sprinkle on the tuna. At this point, don’t pick your nose or rub your eyes [-X

Image
Fry the tuna on high heat in a little butter. Don’t overdo it otherwise it’ll be like leather

Meanwhile get the peas on and boil some water for the mash & parsley sauce

Paul

Julie says that Tuna is a pacific fish so you should have had some boil in the bag rice and lemon juice with that.

Personally the mash was my preference.................... :D

Tinned tuna, mash, peas & parsley sauce is a childhood memory of a meal which sounded boring but was quick and amazingly tasty. I might try it again with some of that boil in the bag salad though :?
