Bored with Butties phase 46

Talk about non-Bongo stuff. BUT KEEP IT CLEAN....there are children watching. Smut, filth, and anything offensive will not be tolerated and removed immediately.

Bored with Butties phase 46

Post by Muzorewa » Fri Nov 12, 2010 3:04 pm

Right, this Bored with Butties malarkey has got far too sensible lately, so it’s time for stir-fried cuttlefish :-&

Image
Baby cuttlefish – lots of them, prawns, peppers, beansprouts & mushrooms

Image
Fry the raw prawns....

Image
....zap them then put to one side, you’ll be needing them later

Image
Chop the peppers

Image
Fry the cuttlefish in a wok....

Image
....when they’re done they start to “flower” :-#

Image
Add the peppers....

Image
....sliced mushrooms....

Image
....prawns....

Image
....a dollop of stir-fry sauce....

Image
....mix together, still on the heat....

Image
....add some beansprouts....

Image
....keep stirring....

Image
....add some noodles....

Image
....keep stirring....

Image
....and enjoy =P~

Image
And to anyone, like Mrs Muz, who says there’s no green in it – well I don’t much care for broccoli, and hey, it’s my lunch and it’s on a green plate so there [-(

Super Muz.......are the flowers "whole", ie, with ink, quill, guts etc all inside????. Think ide have to clean em first  or are they like sprats and you eat the lot :?

Do you end up with a black tongue and teeth, like after eating Blackjacks

Ah, the cuttlefish are quite civilised - if you buy cleaned baby squids they have normally had the heads pulled off and the guts removed, so you have two pieces. Cuttlefish tend to be left whole but they cut a slit into the mantle (body to you & me  ) so they can rip the guts out but leave the body & head attached to each other  and you can see this in the final picture

Indeed, the final phase, phase 52, is Christmas Eve and it's fish paste sandwiches from thereon :?

Suggestions for the finale?.....

I think I know where you sourced the berries  my flippin legs will never forget
I've got an idea....I don't care what you're cooking, in fact I dread to think  but if you want to cook it here there'll be potentially 29 kids, 20 plus adults and bimbamboozle

you'd be glad to get back home for fish paste butties

If it's 21st December you're thinking of, that's a work day :(

Come to think of it, so is 24th December :( :(

And who, or what, is Bimbamboozle, the local off-licence? :?
