Red Squirrel Meet this Winter

Post by Driver+Passengers » Mon Oct 08, 2012 9:14 am

The third Monday after the New Year begins is traditionally the most depressing day of the year.

Assuming they're open all year (as someone suggested they are) and roads permitting, brighten up your January with a trip to the 'Squirrel.

I propose 18th-20th January, 2013. Any takers?

I would be up for it depending if the roads are safe enough for me to get through. As I may not have my Bongo by then and its replacement will only be 2WD perhaps it would be better for me to come in my Jeep Cherokee and sleeep in a tent. brrrr!

I'm reluctant to put my name down for this knowing what has happened the last two times, I might just put it in my diary and then surprise you all  :D

I'd be up for that, roads permitting.

I think the roads are going to be fine.

A hospital appointment for a procedure has cropped up for me for at 12.30 am on Friday. Gonna be late and in the Jeep if I make it. :(

I definitely think this bad weather front is being over-hyped.

It's going to be nippy, but fine. A big fire - some pallets as a reflector wall, perhaps...

Who's still planning to come? Me and Thomas are, though I've been told that Alex might still be too young.

Donald me and the kidlets might make it for the Friday night (have something on Sat night) as long as the weather's not too bad. If we do we have loads of wood for the fire.
