The Not At All Brass Munkey Bash. Tan Hill, Aug 8th.

Post by mister munkey » Mon Mar 16, 2009 10:49 pm

This years Tan Hill Event.

The highest Inn in England is one of the best pubs in the Western World. http://www.tanhillinn.com/ Its pretty remote & fairly zany. We had a bit of a shindig there last summer & due to popular demand - its back on this summer!! :D

Space is limited as the car park & immediate surroundings can't take much more than about fifteen or so Bongos but there is a spot about 300yds up the road & a few other flat bits that should hold another 20. Facilities are basic, don't expect a hook up, awnings are pretty much impossible BUT, its a fabby party palace! last year I managed to persuade a Top Band along & we hired the barn for the saturday night. May well be able to do something similar again. This could be a tricky one to organise but if theres enough interest, I'll get the ball rolling.

I'm thinking there might be an Actual Brass Munkey bash later in the year too - Its a fine place to get snowed in at!

Your thoughts please . . . . .

We'd definitely go for that but, sadly, we'll be in another country then, trying to dig haggii out of their hiding grounds :(
