replacement battery for 2l petrol

Post by daisydaydream » Thu Apr 26, 2012 7:04 pm

Hi all you knowledgeable clever folks out there in Bongoland (sychophantic grovelling ;D)

I know somewhere I've read what sort of battery I need to awaken Winnebongo from her winter slumbers, she just went 'blech' when I tried to turn her over at the end of last year
(it's about 7 years since the last change, so it's bound to be a new one needed)
but do you think I can find where it was written ... ?!?

Could someone please tell me what information I need to go to the suppliers with .. pretty please?

eternally grateful in anticipation [-o<
Carole
*hope you're not vomiting*

Hi Carole, lots of us are using Bosch S4 from Euro Car Parts. It will fit diesel and V6 and I don't believe there is any difference with the 2 litre petrol. They do a promo code so you can get anywhere from 15-30% off regular price.

Lots of threads on here, but here's one to get you started :)
