Not going out to measure it right now, but it's just over 50mm.

A Ford Connect tailpipe - no silencer involved - is the right fit over what is left of your tailpipe (assuming that it broke where it enters the box).

The bends are in the right places but the hanging spigot needs chopping off on one side and a little bit of ingenuity with rubber hangers to hook it to the support nearer the middle of the valance. If you can get hold of a 52-54mm U bolt with built in spigot it does the trick.

Finally, when happy with how it hangs, cut off the excess at an angle or slide on a smart looking stainless tip.

This solution will get you out of trouble but there may be other standard parts from other vehicles but I don't remember anyone posting a better alternative to the Ford Connect.

I got all the bits from Kwik Fit no problem straight off the shelf. The Connect pipe was the nearest they had in stock so we didn't investigate other possibilities.
