Good points, both of them. I have read that (long) document about batteries and safety (among lots of other stuff, and I'm thinking perhaps I'll just disconnect it manually this time around and save my efforts for a leisure battery. Hmm. Well, I'm also running out of time, so packing a couple of tools is certainly the quicker option before we leave!
