Unfortunately Karen,I wont be able to attend on Friday,as Ive pre booked for the Bakewell meet.
I was contemplating either attending the funeral, then going home and loading up for Bakewell,or loading up first and going to the meet straight after, but sadly ive made the decision that its a bit too much of a round trip
I hope everything goes OK on the day and Im sure he`ll get the great send off he dererves.
Ill be there in spirit and will raise a glass to him, with others, at the meet.

just consentrate on the first one. coming from the west on the a65 through the town centre and main lights, look for the post office(if its still there) the cemetry/chapel of rest is 2 streets past on the left, the rest will be easy, just follow the bongos.
we will be there early :)

I'm so upset, I only found out about Keith last night. I can't believe I won't see this lovely man again. Have spoken to Karen and she has updated me with whats been happening plus tomorrows itinery. Keith & Karen were probably the happiest and most contented married couple I have ever met. Keith love - you will be a HUGE loss to those of us who knew you; I will miss your dry sense of humour, your down to earth view of life and your innate kindness. A nicer more grounded chap you could never meet.
Rest in Peace love.

Karen, my thoughts and love are with you too. Its hard being strong and feeling you should be coping ... all the time. Just let others around you ,help in any and every way they possibly can love.

See you tomorrow Karen, and take heart from the love and support we all freely and willingly give to you.

Thought I'd posted last night but its not here. Just to say how very sorry I am I couldn't be there - I would have if the Bongo wasn't broken, leaving me car-less. I'm thinking of Keith (nothing good you understand but..... ) as I type, and of you all up there giving Karen support. Bongo folk are the best, and Keith was one of the best of the best. Rest in peace old son - the thought I may have you for company one day makes the prospect of advancing years less depressing (oh and mine's a bacon barm cake please, as per your usual  )

Lots of love and hugs to you Karen.

My thoughts are with you Karen & Sally, and I'll be raising a glass tomorrow.

All the best.

Nice one Ady. I am a total div when it comes to direction and Jane (tom tom) can be so insistent that I go left or right, or "Turn around when possible" I was probably better off with looking at a map and writing BIG instructions of where I should be going past or need to be with a magnet that I could attach to a part of the car that I could see clearly from.

I guess it is progress... I just don't know...

A smashing service for a smashing bloke, lovely touch taking flowers down to the river to set adrift on the babbling waters near the stepping stones, very moving.
Rest in peace Kieth.
Lost without my Bongo.
