I can only echo what has already been said.......great meet..
great people.....great organization by ALL concerned.
we were last to leave and I sent the kids on a litter pick
only to have them come back bored 'cos there was NOTHING to pick up.
Also had a chat with the steward who was VERY impressed with the organization and also the behaviour of everyone there......I think we
will be welcomed back with open arms.
Wayne....sorry about your problem....it seemed that sort of weekend.
WELL DONE all you Bongoers from far and wide ......what an amazing set of folks you are
Alan ( Bongo Police )...Scarface ( Dee )...John....Shelley and Callum ( scarhead )..
Thanks for a great weekend.

Hi all. Just popped on to check the meet thread. Wow. Great pics.
Not been online since the weekend as I am working away this week and its v late when I get home.
I think I may have something to confess...
... As some of you will be aware, Erin, the chicklets and myself could only make a day visit on the saturday. Met a lot of lovely people and bought a silver wand thing??? and ... wait for it... A spare wheel off the big one.
I fitted the spare in place of my spacesaver and then started drinking.
The last thing I remember was it (the spare)being entered in the auction.
Now then... Did it sell??? I dont know. If it didnt... What happened to it???
Was it the one I have just read about? Oh god. I hope not.
Honestly folks. If I had known it was going to be left, I would have claimed it and taken it home. The truth is, after a few sherbets, I forgot where I live and only remembered buying the spare and the silver wand thing when I opened my wallet on Monday morning.
Kath and Ian. If it WAS my wheel, which lets face it. It probably was, then please accept my thanks for removing it and my sincere apologies for the inconvenience.
I am passing through your neck of the woods every evening this week on the way back home from working in Halifax. If you would like me to call in and retrieve it, just PM me your details and I will be only too glad to.
Just a final message to Wooden Wheel. I read that you were disgusted to find someone fly tipping at a club event. I hope my message has restored your faith in Bongoliers. This was not a case of "cant be arsed", more a case of "cant remember". Just a slip up by a rather tipsy member, who, as most of the regulars know, is a fine upstanding gentleman of good breeding... Well... Sometimes.
p.s. To tell you the truth. I would quite like to have kept it in case I ever sold her, as it was original. But hey ho. The evils of drink ey!!!
