Changing the 'stop' positions on the central bench seat

Post by Shad » Wed Apr 30, 2008 12:27 pm

Hey up,
I have a 96 Bongo with the central bench seat and the split rear seats that fold away. My query regards the stop positions of the centre seat.

Mine has five stop positions, which appears normal, but the positioning of them seems a bit rubbish. Fully forward and back are ok, but the others could do with some improvement, particularly if a long-legged person is in the back.

Does anyone know if it's possible to alter the stop positions at all? I've read the threads on reversing the seats but have found no reference to this particular issue.

Any help much appreciated,

Cheers, Shad.

You could drill and file more holes in the rails

Cheers, I'll try that now I know it's possible. I have a new set of files that need breaking in!
