Daft Daffy Bash, 13th to 15th March.

If you are going away somewhere and don't mind meeting up with other Bongo owners or if you've been somewhere & want to tell us about it & stick up your photos, put the details here.

I got fed up with the slow crawl along the A55 and decided to cut across country to Mold. A good choice it was a plesant drive after that long crawl.

:(
I bumped into Shell&Andy at the very next roundabout tony,it was a non stop steady cruise from then on for us both, a very pleasurable drive it turned out to be in the end.

I asked the bobby at the island what the hold up was, but he spoke foreign, sounded like he said summat about a "bad geek"??? Or "has sheep" or summat or other...

Hi Denise you will have to sort that one out with the landlady next time you are at the Red Lion. It was a Monday so perhaps this open all hours thing only applies to weekends. :(

Ha ha. I learned that trick when I had to get our little ones x 3 to go to sleep. I was real slick at it, singing lullabies in a boooorrrring tones etc. Seems the knack has stayed with me

Well here ar the few photos I took of the walk on Snowdon. Participants were Harry, Bongolow, dreamwarrioruk, the Munkey Tribe and myself. Only Bongolow went all the way to the top, the rest of us turned back at the junction of the Pyg track and the Miners Track. I will really have to get fit again.

Mountaingoats post reminds me that - yet again - big big thanks are due to Harry (or maybe we should rename him 'Man Mountain'). Not only was the marquee (and the social focus and shelter it provided) all down to him bothering to bring it down, supervise construction (thanks too to the team who helped him) etc., then taking it home again, but he also took a group off for a walk on Snowdon complete with tall taless of derring do and a pint (or a few) at t'pub afterwards. I was v. sorry I missed the walk - too much like hard work getting the boys organised in time - as I'd have loved it. Next time maybe.

Big Up for Harry - hurrah =D>

Cracking pics Tony, I think I'll have to take the train later in the year to get in any kind of vantage point - no danger of me climbing up there
