My Sony CDX-GT420U will drain my LB if left on standby, if it is turned right off it then looses all its pre-sets after about a week of non use. Very frustrating. Its OK if used a lot but at 22mpg it doesn't get used much now. I can do all my re-setting from memory now (& that doesn't work too well these day) I have done it so often!!

Our Sony head memory never drained the vehicle battery when attached to it so I don't think it's the cause of the drain.

To finish this thread I'm pleased to report we have now had two weekends away and the leisure battery has performed as it should. It seems that disconnecting the 110v inverter, which was hiding on the cigar lighter circuit, has done the trick.

I so wish I had known this a year ago!

Thank you to everyone who contributed to solving this longstanding problem. We're now having to get used to the fact that the battery lasts for ages allowing us to leave the interior lights on all evening. It even runs our coolbox for a few hours!
