Just wondering to why the questions from the garage as looking back at your posts .. it seems your cambelt as not in fact broke .. do they suspect it of jumping a tooth or what ..??

hi and thanks. How easy is it to see the belt? The garage have just said the belt is completely off. However initially the guy that looked at it said it was spinning quickly????????? I remember seeing the belt getting changed and the belt that was in it was fine and seemed a better one than the one that was getting replaced.
Anyway if it had just missed a tooth then is there hope. The bongo was looked at a second time and they have said the belt is off? i dont know if I trust them now
cheers

Did they replace the tensioner as well as the belt as they should have?

4 years ago i replaced the belt and tensioner as i bought both on ebay. The unfortunate thing was my mechanic at the time said the belt looked fairly new and I probably replaced it with an inferior one.
Anyone know what the best thing to do is as I dont want to spend 1,500 getting everything repaired?
How much would I get for it selling it as it is
recent work done ...new radiator. new exhaust........but front aircon knackered ( ive tried to repair myself and new part 100 +)
thyanks guys
