Reversing the middle seats (short runners)

Post by TonyBongo » Fri Jun 10, 2016 4:30 pm

The BF factsheet on Reversing the middle seats (short runners) states that the technical difficulty is 'fairly easy'.

Is it really 'fairly easy'? The Instructions state that some of the nuts holding the runners in place are situated under the side panel on the rear heater side (which could get broken), and that locking washers have to be removed and replaced.

Cheers

Obviously depends on your DIY abilities but I would agree with 'Fairly Easy'. Yes, I have done it.

I'd recommend a 'Breaker Bar' and good quality socket to get the bolts free, they are $¥€**# tight.

Edit: The middle seat is seriously heavy, make sure you have a willing helper to remove and refit it.
