Heater takes a while to produce warm air

Hello there,
My Bongo's heater takes quite a while to produce anything like warm air. I would say about 15 to 20 minutes.
Watching the 'Bongo bleed' videos mentions the heater matrix having air pockets possibly. The coolant was replaced a year or so ago but shows no sign of being low (I have a coolant alarm and check levels regularly).
Would air pockets not work their way out over time or is this likely the problem, even though the level hasn't changed?

It could be blocked with disturbed gunge from the coolant system, on the otherhand most of the Bongo's take a good 10 minutes to warm up.

I'm with Geoff.
The diesels do take a good while to get warm.

The 2.0 gets up to temp and supplying warm air very quickly.

I'm running a diesel and timing it properly, it does indeed take about 10 minutes to warm up. Good to know that's expected and nothing is wrong.

That sounds a bit long to me. One obvious possibility is a tired thermostat thats not closing properly. Do you know how old it is?
