Heater control removal

Post by Mark-H » Sat Jan 20, 2024 6:45 pm

How do the analogue heater controls come out of the dash? I’ve taken off the little covers, released the spring catches through the round holes. The left hand side seems to move ok the right hand side feels like something is holding it back on the rear. Comes forward a bit then stops. Before I strip more stuff down unnecessarily, is there a trick to it?

With the radio out (which I had to do anyway) and the dash surround off it all got a lot easier. Also removed the 2 cables off the co trial box which you can get to easily from the driver and passenger foot wells.
