How To Order

There are 3 ways to order.

Online using Paypal. Just click on the "add to basket" button next to the item. When you proceed to checkout you will be asked for payment details. Note that VAT will be added to your order at the end of the process. We will deliver to the address stated on your Paypal account unless informed otherwise.
By telephone. Please ring 0114-2550836. You can pay by all major debit and credit cards (not American Express). Our opening hours are 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday, 9.30am to 1pm Friday. Note that we are closed some Friday mornings if we are attending a Bongo meet-up.
By post. Complete the order form (which you can download here) and send to the address on the form. Cheques should be made payable to "Maynards".

By placing an order with us you are agreeing to our terms and conditions, a full copy of which can be found here. But to save you wading through the legal jargon, here is a summary:

Summary:

It is the responsibility of the buyer to stipulate the correct delivery address.
Once an order has been placed it can not be cancelled unless agreed by both parties
If goods are returned undelivered, and a re-delivery is arranged, a fee may be payable.
If goods are sent "on invoice", then payment must be made within 28 days. Interest may be charged for late payment.
Non receipt of goods must be reported within 10 working days of the order being placed.
In the event of non-receipt of goods, the seller's liability shall be limited to the cost of the goods.
If there are any defects in quality or condition, the buyer must return the goods within 7 days of delivery.
If goods are not received as scheduled, then the seller has the right not to issue a replacement until compensatory payment has been made by the courier.
On receipt of goods it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure that everything has been received. A signature should only be given to the courier once goods have been checked.

Postage & Packing

Postage & packing is included in the price quoted. Usually, orders received by 12pm are despatched the next working day. Orders received after 12pm are despatched within 2 working days. Depending on the weight and destination of the consignment, we use Royal Mail, TNT, Parcelforce or UPS. We also use Citylink for Royal Mail prohibited items. Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery. If you want something in a hurry, use the Express Delivery service.

If you need delivery to the Scottish Highlands & Islands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight or Northern Ireland, there may be a supplement payable. See here for details.

Non-UK Orders

If you are ordering from outside the UK then please email us (ian@bongofury.co.uk) or phone (+44-114-2550836) to discuss postage costs and Sales Tax. We use Royal Mail for items under 1kg, UPS or Fedex for everything else.

Our Returns Policy

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you can return any goods, for any reason, within 7 days of receiving them. If you wish to return goods, they must be in the original packaging and you must include a copy of the original delivery note. Please note that you can only return tents or awnings if they have not been removed from the box. You are responsible for postage charges. All goods returned must be in resaleable condition, otherwise no refund can be given. Refunds will be made via the original payment system, i.e. credit/debit card, Paypal/Nochex or cheque.

Under the Sale of Goods Act, faulty goods, or goods received that are "not as described" can be returned within 28 days. A replacement will be issued, or if that is not possible a full refund will be given. If you wish to return goods, you must include a copy of the original delivery note. We will refund your postage charges, which should be the cheapest Royal Mail service available. Refunds will be made via the original payment system, i.e. credit/debit card, Paypal/Nochex or cheque.

Express Delivery

Although all items on this page include postage, it can take 3 to 5 working days for your order to arrive. To guarantee your goods arrive the next working day, you should select one of the following options and pay the supplement indicated. Orders must be received by 12pm to qualify for this service. Not available for Highlands/Islands, Northern Ireland, Isle of Wight or Isle of Man.

This category is for all the following heavy items. Goods despatched by Parcelforce 24 hour service or by TNT.

Filter set, brake discs, full set of hoses, all Camping Equipment, mattresses, roofbeds, airbeds, head gasket bolt set & clutch kits. Also all orders where total weight is more than 2kg. Phone or email if unsure.

This category is for everything else, as long as the total weight is less than 2kg. Goods will be despatched by Royal Mail Special Delivery (guaranteed for 1pm next working day). Sometimes we may use TNT.

Supplements

Unfortunately there are supplements for items delivered to the Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Northern Ireland, and the Scottish Highlands & Islands. Therefore, if you order any of the following items, a £13 supplement will be payable. Goods will take an extra day to arrive.
