We have the Dometic /Waeco 3 way, 12 v 240v and gas cannisters, love it. It is very quiet, only down side is the size, it is quite big.

We have futon shop 'bed in a bag' we got them in a sale very comfy but a bit bulky. We have travelled to southern Spain using self inflating camping mats which I find a bit slippery and need air top up each night.

We have European RAC cover tagged on to another insurance. I have checked with them, it does cover the Bongo (ie any age vehicle) See you at the tunnel

Tried cakes yesterday, heated up the skillet top on another gas ring and used a packet cake mix (first time for that) it took much longer than expected but the cakes came out ok

Re double skillet yes we use diffuser, used it for long weekend cooking for 4. I was going to try cakes but ran out of time. Plan to give them a go at home. Very impressed so far....

Heidi travels in the bongo in a fold up canvas cage which we use as her personal tent/kennel when we camp. The first time I took her out in it I had to stop to make sure she was OK as she was so quiet in the back. We did a week I the forest of dean and she loved it.

These days both doctors and vets have the ability to put animals under as shallow and for as short a time as is needed, Unlike years ago when anaesthetic meant an overnight stay in hospital. I would be guided by the vet and if the surgery is essential for quality of life. Hope all goes well whatever...
