Hi Mark, a good modification. The material around the hinges should just pull away. Not all bongo's have bolts at either end but this can be overcome. See other posts on the subject.

Hi Dave I Kate, I reversed the hatch so that the hinges were at the rear, attached with self tappers. I then fitted a piece of rod to the skylight shutter which when in the shut position held the hatch open.

Are you sure that it is the AFT Bleeper? Surely if it was the AFT the roof warning light would be on and you have not said that it is.

Hi we have the same conversion even the same fridge. We found, thanks to the forum, that it is not a 'Rock'n Roll' bed.
