Re: New shape rear light cluster disassembly

Glad to be of help. :D

Shortly after we got "Belle", in December 2011, I noticed about a 1" water build up in the reversing/Indicator lense space.

Simple fix.

Small hole drilled at the lowest point of the plastic lense and then parked on a slope for 20 minutes while it drained. Bit of Bostik ...

No its called failed translation :-) The characters are a partial transliteration of the codes used in the original text!

Re: engine

I've always assumed its the flip seat/footrest behind the front seats ?

Lush Projects calls that flip/footrest (part no. 57-11X) a < µ?AIY > Whatever that is in English. LOL!

Alan,

< ..... how to check the AFT level. .... >

The ATF dipstick is under the RHS (GB driver's side) seat. It's towards the back of the engine, with a yellow cap. (Mine has anyway :D )

Pull it out, it's quite long, and on the end there should be 2 marks. For a quick check . With the engine ...

Re: Limp Mode

Alan,

We have a year 2000, 2.5 diesel and "Limp Mode" has happened twice to us.

First time was due to the auto gear box being overfilled on a service a couple of days before we set off. It went into limp (wouldn't rev above 15/1600 and just chugged along at its own speed in 3rd) with "Hold" light ...

And the engine number on my year 2000 2.5TD is stamped on the front RHS of the block on a small "flat".

Watch your fingers if you've been running the engine. Been there, done that, left the skin. LOL!
