Thanks for all these ideas. I should perhaps underline that it is the canvas rather than the netting which is torn, but I will explore the contacts with the recommended menders or even try and find a local one. I have used Tenacious tape before and found it very good - but this damage is too much ...

I am looking for advice about what to do about a tear in my Bongo's rooftent. Is it possible to repair a rooftent with a similar fabric so it looks better or, if not, what is the best (and most economical) approach to replacing it?
