Re: Stolen Bongo Glasgow
Sorry to resurrect an old post, but we received notice from a vehicle recovery place the other day that the van had been found... torched! Apparently it's been in Polmadie, less than 10 miles from the house since March. The police had only just got round to identifying it by VIN number... We've now...

Re: Lying low for a few weeks
Pleased to report 1st drive went well today probably because it was in the van  It put up a battle though, failing to start on Friday. I've detailed my battery charging method which has been shifted to 'chat' so I won't go over it all again. As for me, lifting the battery out was fine. My walki...

Re: Lying low for a few weeks
No zipper for me.
Stent inserted up through artery, incision on wrist. How they got a 38 x 4mm piece of platinum up there is amazing.
Did get a zip for my prostate removal, right on my bikini line

Re: Lying low for a few weeks
Good luck with it all. Just had a major whoo ha of my own, now mending, but watch the driving... If the docs told you not to drive, you're not insured! Derek Being a good boy, 4 weeks after the event is the order for my case. (Maybe it's an age thing  ) One lad in the ward was told one week. I...

Thanks for all the good wishes.
First walk out today, went absolutely fine.

Lying low for a few weeks
Ticker threw a wobbler about 9 days ago. Whipped in to hospital and now home with a shiny new stent, (38mm long !), and probably back for another soon. 3 coronary arteries out of 4 need attention. I'm feeling fine though, no pain, (7 pills/day!) and the fight back is well under way. No driving for a...

Re: HELP re Haydn's low coolant alarm wiring!
Well the saga is over. The alarm had died! Whether this was due to intermittent dodgy connections we will never know, but Jo at Hadyn sent me a replacement as soon as I sent the dodgy one back. I was going the try and rewire via fuse box but found that too tight to get into for my flexibility #-o A ...

Re: HELP re Haydn's low coolant alarm wiring!
Back to square 1  Finished off yesterday with 3 good tests before refitting glove box, then 3 after, all fine. Setting off for underseal estimate this afternoon, no test audible or lamp, bngger! Got back and opened it all up, no obvious dodgy connection. Planning a re-instal without scotchloks!

Re: HELP re Haydn's low coolant alarm wiring!
Glad you are sorted. I recall from long time ago that one of the concerns with scotch loks was that they lost connectivity with corrosion. Maybe that was the reason for Haydn's caution. I'm intrigued by your need to remove the glove box. I guess you have routed the wiring from the expansion tank in...

Re: HELP re Haydn's low coolant alarm wiring!
I personally am not keen on using scotch locks. We provide crimp connectors in the kits.....better to cut the pos supply wire and use the blue crimp to join in the alarm pos wire.... Just found the reason for my LCA working only intermittently, (self test function). It was the bliddy scotch clip. T...
