Re: NEW FOREST MEET

Good to meet everyone and put faces to names. Royal Oak was a brilliant choice and thanks to Mary for organizing it . High 5 to everyone who braved the cold to stay overnight ! Hear hear Beefy! Really enjoyed our first Meet..... especially as we've now had warm baths and all parts are thawed!! :lol...

not rallied before.... do these things ...occur.... or does
some mighty omnipotent Being work it out?

Look forward to meeting you - twice![/quote]

Thank you... and likewise... I just hope we can manage the excitement of
seeing a (insert collective noun here) of bongos... such is the reaction at
seeing a lone bongo passing on the road or even parked up!!
will we grow out of it?

Re: Twin Battery Replacement

Can recommend the Bosch S4 route... thought we had a 75ah starter battery (other is a leisure battery) as it was called a star75.... came with 'Betty' from Japan.... google search suggests this was in fact just 55ah and since replacing with the Bosch 'Betty' starts far more cleanly... and no longer ...

Re: White smoke on start up

White smoke is, I believe, unburnt fuel.... suggests, as it rights itself so quickly, that a glow plug is
broked..... I hope that's all it is as we have an identical symptom!!
