Re: To reverse the rear seats or not....?

Thanks Bob. Will have a look at the 'Fact Sheet'. I have two sons (hopefully 'strong' as I understand the rear seat is heavy) who can have a look with me & between us we will suss out. Again, many thanks.

Re: To reverse the rear seats or not....?

Hi and 'many thanks' for responding. Am a bit confused over long or short rails....so.... as I look into the Bongo from the rear on the r/h side there is a long rail that runs from behind the drivers seat to the back and on the l/h side it is similar but shorter as that side has the sink etc. Am I c...

To reverse the rear seats or not....?

Hi! Am a Bongo owner of 4 years, have two dogs who travel on the rear seats secured in via harnesses + I pull the seats forward so there is minimum space between rear and front seats & all has been good. However, I feel that reversing the rear seats will give us more room BUT I wonder how my dog...

Re: North West day meet...anyone interested..?

Many thanks for your response Alan :D As an add, Mr X requested paint codes...I checked the code on the plate on the passenger side (A2G)....then used the code listing in the Member's area of Bongo Fury...just hoping this was correct? May end up with wheel arches etc in Burgundy...or even worse...Bl...

Re: North West day meet...anyone interested..?

Apologies but we will not be able to join you on Sunday the reason being that 'Maisie Bongo' is currently off the road having her rust issues sorted :D I spent Wednesday driving around X number of vehicle body repair shops based in Wirral that I had identified via personal recommendations, Facebook,...

BODYSHOP RECOMMENDATIONS - MERSEYSIDE

Hi all! I am pleased to report that my P Reg Bongo passed the MOT this week so now wish to sort out her rusty rear wheel arches - strongly suspect it will be a replacement job. Having looked at the list of recommendations I can see the nearest to me (Wirral, Merseyside) is Williams Garage, Wrexham b...

Re: Wirral bongo competent mechanics

Hi! I use Lowry & Williams, Unit 3 New Way Business Centre, Oakdale Road, Wallasey CH44 7HT (it is just off the Dock Road) Tel 0151 638 2234. They were recommended by previous owner and I have found them to be good for servicing, MOT etc & acceptable cost wise. Hope this helps.

Re: Have a great bash one and all

Anyone else hear the reference to the Bongo Bash and Bongonaughts etc etc on Radio 2 this morning? I missed the finer details but when I heard 'Bongonaught' my immediate response was: 'I am a Bongonaught'. Enjoy the Bash everyone! :D

Hi! I too use an extendable tent pole with a butchered tennis ball over the top to prevent piercing and has proved successful so far. I too have tried pole & clamps but using the extendable tent pole have found the figure of 8 works well - think it must be because the amount of slack material is...

LIDL PURCHASE

Hi all! Just to say have purchased a rather handy plastic table today. Measurements 60L x 80W x 69H (cms) or if you prefer..."actual measurement in English" when assembled 31"W x 23"D x 27"H. Plus point is that it is lightweight and for £14.99 seems OK to me! Hazel & Her...

Re: ELECTRIC BBQ/HOT PLATE

Hi all! "Thank you" for your responses and ideas. As I am off travelling from next week have ordered what I think will be suitable from Amazon. Will give feedback as to how good/bad it is on my return. Brian - yes, I considered a Cadac but I prefer to use CC/CCC sites so my thinking is tha...
