Re: North Devon Bongo Meet - May 2017

Hi Jan
Thanks again for organising the weekend
Carole and I had a lovely time and if it’s on again next year we will defiantly try to get there
Can you book the Sunshine and the surf now then that will give the weather Gods plenty of time to sort it out

Re: camp site around Glastonbury area

We’ve been to Glastonbury a few times to watch bands and have an evening out
The best site for the town centre is The Isle of Avalon
http://avaloncaravanpark.co.uk/
It’s a nice site and is only about a 10 minute walk to the town centre

We did also once sleep in our van in the car park of the ...

Re: Alternate Cat Flap

I’ve turned our roof round as well
I just extended the wire for the light and it runs round the roof panel
I also had to alter the position of the gas struts to get the inner panel to stay up but it was worth the effort
We find it much better for getting up and down and I’ve also removed the ...

Wheel Nuts

Hi All
I have managed to get hold of a set of Standard Bongo Alloy Wheels
My van has steels on it at the moment and as the tyres are the same size I plan to get the tyres swooped over then fit the alloys
Does anyone know if the steel and alloy wheel nuts have the same taper? If they are the same ...

Is it safe to flat tow a Bongo

Hi Guys
I don’t need to tow my Bongo anywhere at the moment but for future reference does anyone know the rules on towing a 2 wheel drive auto box 2.5 diesel Bongo?
I know with a lot of auto boxes the rule of thumb is 30 miles max speed 30 MPH but I have no idea what it is for the Bongo
Thanks ...
