Re: Lambda sensor

I changed my Lambda recently. The wires on my vehicle are blue and white and white is the earth connection. Mine is 99 V6.

By the way since I changed the sensor I have had an improved MPG - was 17mpg now after 1000miles 21 mpg on autogas and the engine pulls better up hills with less of a flat spot ...

Little green men

Er I meant Little green light!

What is the little green light about? It's in the cupholder at the front and comes on with the lights. I really cant think why it was fitted or what useful function it performs.

Lambda sensor UPDATE

Lambda sensor 1999 V6 petrol running on LPG.

I spoke to a lambda specialist and he explained that my sensor readings were quite slow he would expect nearly instant response to throttle and some regular variation in the signal. My sensor took about 1.5 mins to settle between changes.

So I bought ...

Re: Lambda sensor data

Any ideas what the Lambda should read I think 1 Volt is the max with loads of Oxygen so 0.35v sounds OK to me but I really have no idea if it's in range.

Lambda sensor data

Hi I have a V6 Petrol, I have just checked the voltage at the Lambda sensor - does anyone know if this sounds about right;

I had a problem with a poor connection at the plug ...

Petrol V6 (LPG) Lambda sensor

My V6 is a bit flat going up hill but fine on the flat. When I had it converted to LPG the installer said the Lambda sensor wasn't working. Do you think the two are connected? If so where can I get the sensor? and will it need programming when its fitted? I get about 20mpg on gas and 24 mpg on ...
