V6 twin exhaust system
Hi, As I intend to buy a V6 Bongo I was wondering if anyone knows of a good source for a stainless steel twin system exhaust? You know, 3 into 1 on each side, down to and including the rear back boxes. I had this setup on a V8 Ford and it sounded great. They are sometimes alternatively called extrac...

Thanks
Hi, Dropped in at the Bash as a day visitor on Saturday looking for inspiration and information. My wife was not convinced upon arrival as the weather was pretty poor and all her miserable UK camping memories came flooding (excuse the pun) back. Had a good chat with few different people and by the t...

Dimensions
Could someone please tell me the maximum internal length and width dimensions of an unconverted Bongo from behind the cab seats to the rear door with all seating removed please? Discount the wheel arch intrusions.
Cheers

Re: Comfy Bed
Many thanks for your replies. Not as uncomfortable as it looks then? By the way, never thought of lying that way around with my head in the cab.
Cheers

Comfy Bed
Evening all,
There must be a few here that have conversions that utilise the driver and passenger front seats to make up the bed. How comfortable/convenient is this set up?
Thanks.

Re: Bring Me a Bongo
Cheers Guys, Yes, they are based in Warrington, not too far for me to visit, just nice to get some idea of their credibility before I waste the fuel though. The fact that the conversion is removable is sort of appealing, plus a full width bed. I had a coachbuilt VW and the one thing I disliked very...

Bring Me a Bongo
Hi, me again. Anyone here help with some advice/opinions of the Bringmeabongo rear conversions? Not sure how you access to kitchen area from inside the van as the rear seats seem to be in the way. Does anyone have this conversion coupled with an AFT? Not much room to stand and cook by the look of it...

Re: I waxed my AFT . . .
Yes - you are absolutely right - there are no drain holes at all. Oh well - the upside is that they aren't blocked!! Today I did the right side of the van (wash, rinse, dry, clay, 2 coats Carnuba wax). It's really coming up nicely - I can't believe how great the clay is. I had never heard of this b...

Re: Screeching when accelerating.
Could the manifold (suitably sleeved) be used as a means of keeping the drill bit(s) centred while the old stud is drilled out and the hole tapped? Drill the stud using the guide (tube)as mentioned, then use an easy out. Careful with the Easyout though. They are hardened and if it breaks the only wa...

Oven
Hi,
Has anyone got a side conversion that incorporates an oven? I looked at JAL's spaceship 3 with the wide bed and wondered if anyone had managed to cram an oven somewhere into this conversion? Any other ideas if not possible?
Cheers.
