Your internal fuse board / trip switch inside should be close to where you plug in outside
Have you check the site electrics hasn't tripped ( where you plugged in the other end of your cable to )

It's a little mesh filter in the fuel pump easy job

On the 2ltr petrol the oil filler cap appears to be on the drivers side
If you are auto gears you could check your gearbox level while on that side ( there's no filler cal for auto box just dip stick )

Is it starting and running fine now on petrol and LPG
Have you checked them earth straps , there's one from engine to chassi
