Pearce and Batt at Sittingbourne do lots of Bongos.
Not the cheapest, but they do decent work.
Mines been in there a few times for MOTs and they love it

Re: RX8 steering wheel
I did mine and so did a mate, piece of cake - have a search you'll see a post by me.
Mine was with airbag and his was without - only thing to sort is two grooves cut into the back of the RX8 wheel to match the indicator cut outs and wire the horn.

Re: Wiring Issue
This is whats bugging me - earth tests OK, as I run a test lamp and it lights up - but not to that power source.
Interestingly I have a battery test meter connected and it registers as powered but really low.

Wiring Issue
Help me out here.
I have wire running from front to rear to power AV kit, now it was working fine.
All of a sudden its stopped working.
I can get 12v if I use a multimeter but no power to use anything.
Is it possible its corroded somewhere?

Re: Interior light led swap
Mine is the old style single length one, by the time its warmed up I'm on my way home LOL
I have that Cob light already but couldn't work out how to get the cover off so gave up.
Then realised mine wasn't the U type.
Where do I prise the old one off from?
Seen the Vid Thanks!

Interior light led swap
Just got back from a few days in the new forest and the rear flourescent bulb is driving me mad.
So two questions how do I get the cover off to change the bulb and what led can I change it to.
Thanks

Re: Black alloy wheels for a Purple Bongo.....
Yep,
Black RX8's been on a while now
Trick is to use the right tyres, and not run on the standard 225 that are already fitted.
Go with 245/45/18 or 235/50/18.

Re: Lowering?
Friend of mine has one with a full lowering kit from someone in Japan. Whoever owned it that side of the water spent a few quid as it has full Mazdaspeed accessories all over it. It has been lowered at least 40mm by my reckoning, is on 17 split rims, and has a full Mazdaspeed bodykit and exhaust. Th...

Re: Filling and painting roof
Literally just resprayed mine this weekend with Matt Black Plastikote, its running at about £4 a tin from Screwfix. Not 100% happy with the result, but for £13 I'm in so far I'll keep going, going to rub it down where I have the odd run and go again. I have Cabte's roof decals for the side £20, but ...

Mine has dark alloys fitted (black) not by design but by accident really.

Re: Cab dividing curtain.
I used the furniglide runner as suggested but screwed it directly to the roof lining.
Worked a treat well pleased with the results.
Thanks!

Cab dividing curtain.
Anyone made one of these?
I've bought the Kvartal as per the instructions, but this is the wrong stuff for the cab divider it appears.
I can't bend it enough across the horizontal plane.
Anyone recommend a rail that will do the job?
