Re: Leisure battery kit

Well, I've had the willinton kit fitted for about 14 months, and for quite a few months, it made quite a frequent clicking sound when idleing, I assumed it was switching between charging and not charging quite a bit, but now it has stopped charging altogether. Checked all the fuses, it's not them. A...

Re: What's next to check after re-gassing?

Had a look under the passenger seat. Seemed to be a compressor thingy with a pulley wheel, but no belt. On further inspection, very nice belt laying on the floor pan. Reached round to feel tensioner wheel, unscrewed with my fingers, found a total of three ball bearings and some bits of metal ...

Re: Why does the front heater blow very hot when it's set co

Hi Paulim Looks like you're having the exact same problem as me. My linkage in the drivers side foot well was broken, it's a disaster in the winter as you can't demist. You are right, this only affects the flaps, not the temperature So far I've re-gassed. and cleaned the heat exchanger after taking ...

Re: What's next to check after re-gassing?

Here's a picture of the heat exchanger; notice the strip hanging down in the middle, this is a strip of dust I've half pulled off with tweezers. http://www.hexult.com/temp/exchanger.jpg Another thing, I've realised, there was no gasket between this and the fan housing. Can you just buy sheets of sti...

Re: What's next to check after re-gassing?

Is that in the passenger foot well?

All the flaps visible from the drivers foot well seem to be moving fine.
The recirc flap is OK

Can't get off the cover on the passenger side tonight, but will have a look tomorrow.

Are there flaps anywhere else?

Re: What's next to check after re-gassing?

All back together, not sure if there's an improvement or not. - bit disappointed, thought that was it.

On the passenger side there is a servo motor with a bar linkage, what does this do? Played with the controls, couldn't see it moving

Re: What's next to check after re-gassing?

Right, tell me I'm not going mad please. Starting under the bonnet, I started taking bits off, until I got the fan off and could see what looked like a radiator/heat exchanger. Not many bugs, but it seemed to have a fine coating of dust over the tiny fins. I tried vacuuming, to no effect, I tried a ...

Re: What's next to check after re-gassing?

Thanks for the quick replies. I have no problem with taking things apart, often, I can even put them together again :D But with cars my main problem is knowing where to start, I know about as much as John Snow! (Game of Thrones fans only) Is the heater fan in the big plastic box between the drivers ...

What's next to check after re-gassing?

Air con was not supplying cool air, so I've just had it re-gassed by a mobile re-gassing man. Air is now coming out cool (Colder than surrounding or outside air) but not cold, so it seems to be working, only not working very effectively. The man said the pressure was now good and there were no leaks...

We've done that one!
(Not the real one, but where the film was made.)
All that is left is a couple of concrete foundations.

Re: How do you remove the rear speaker covers ?

Thanks, so I'll leave the speaker and work from the pocket area.
- It will have to be mirrors and torches, to check it's clear before drilling.
