Re: V6 pressure switch ATF
Thanks for your replies, due to the rip off prices of new parts (and some used!) I think I'll wait until one becomes available second hand

Re: V6 pressure switch ATF
Yes, thanks, appears to be the speed sensor. I presume the petrol and diesel models are the same. Anyone know where I can get a new one, or do I need to visit the local scrappy for a second hand one?

Re: V6 pressure switch ATF
It's leaking out around the wires so I think the leak must be internal. Are they easy enough to get hold of and replace?

Yes, it's at the end close to the prop shaft. Assume it's a pressure switch, and it's leaking a little fluid...

Re: Water getting inside...
I've noticed recently that the n/s rear seatbelt is wet when pulled out. Today I found a puddle of water in the back corner. Can't see any obvious places the rain is getting in but does anyone else have any experience of this, and are there any known issues with water leaks? Is it possible you have...

Re: Lowering???
Can recommend Springcoil, they made mine and fit perfectly. I went for 30mm drop and 25% uprated. These work well with my 17" wheels... the Bongo feels much more stable at speed and I can take corners better. Negotiating speed-bumps is fine too, I wouldn't go any lower than this though.

Re: Towbar fitting
That's interesting. I've fitted two and they both went on fine although they're flipping heavy as you say. Yeah it was a right faffage! It was about 12mm off the chassis, because of the curves being too tight. Also had to take some off the spot welds which hold that bracket on the rear of the van, ...
