Re: Leisure battery tested at 6 Volts

Re checking the split charge relay.... Disconnect the split charge relay from the leisure battery. With the engine off, check the voltage at the output (the leisure battery side) - should be zero. Then turn the engine on and give it a rev - the output should then turn on and go to about 13.8 volts (...

SImplest thing would be to go for a short drive - say a few miles - and check the distance on something like google maps or with a GPS. Then you can be sure if it's currently reading km or miles. If it's still reading km it's safe to assume the reading is in km throughout. If it's now reading miles ...

Re: Siezed bongo?

I would definitely check the fuel cutoff solenoid as that would be the logical 2nd thing to immobilise. You could just wire it to a permanent +12v feed as a temporary test. Then bypass the immobiliser for the starter with a piece of wire so it cranks over?

Re: Flashing Hold Light, Only Changing Up on Very High Revs

If you can get the codes and post here I can look up in the Mazda Bongo workshop manual which should be the definitive reference, I think the link I posted is a general Mazda one but does at least show how to get the codes out. Let us know if you can get the codes....

Re: Flashing Hold Light, Only Changing Up on Very High Revs

can you get anything out of the diagnostic connector - for older models the instructions are here -

http://www.philmcfadden.co.uk/MazdaDiagnosticBox.htm

I think flashing hold light is the way the ECU signals there is an error code to read.
