Re: No power in rear socket

Does the rear socket also have the fusible link built into the rear of the socket? - if so it could be that

Re: Diesel heaters

Fitted mine (genuine Eberspacher, others might be a different size so measure first!) under the passenger seat. If you don't have the winter kit there is plenty of room. You can use 2 threaded holes in the chassis rail to mount a base plate (you need some spacers to clear the ridge on the chassis ra...

Re: Fiamma 45i Brackets

Looks like the kit you got off eBay is the right one, that's what I used. Simple to fit, just leave the bolts on the kit loose until you have screwed the awning to these brackets as they will need to move up and down on the mazdabongo brackets to get everything aligned.

Re: Fiamma 45i Brackets

<r>I've just reinstalled my F45 with the mazdabongo brackets for exactly the same reason. The new brackets fit really well. <br/> <br/> You might be able to reuse the old fiamma brackets but the problem will be at the bottom edge. The recommended fiamma brackets have a lip at the bottom edge and you...

Removing roof seal?

Hi all just about to paint my AFT roof (1995 2.5TD 2wd) - is there a simple way to get the roof seal off? I can remove it all the way round easily except where it goes round the corner at the back of the roof - there doesn't seem to be a way to pull it off however much I open the roof as the clearan...

Re: Coolant leak right side (from front)

I think that if the pressure relief cap operates, the coolant is ejected via the short rubber hose that connects to the expansion bottle near the cap. That would spray coolant onto the leisure battery tray and the passenger side of the engine bay so that could be your problem. That would indicate ov...

Re: Fuse 1

Also note that the "dark current" in the service manual is 20mA for the Diesel version so if it's around that there may not be a problem.
