The sensor is on the side of a cone-shaped part of the transmission. It is located under the centre of my bongo, and the cone is between the gearbox and the prop shaft. I need a new sensor and wire. Does anyone know what this is, so I can order a replacement?

Thanks all for the advice. Sounds like I need to ask them to fix the wire; failing that get some more detailed info. Great to have people out there who know what they are doing.
