Re: No Coolant!

Can't thanks Haydn enough! Thanks for talking me through it! Managed to speak to Adam from ADS and I managed to drive the van there and they're sorting it now with no damage to anything! There was a leak but luckily it was only small so no damage was don't. Lucky is an understatement!
Thanks for all ...

Re: No Coolant!

I've spoken to my garage and it turns out that the 'tank' I checked is the header tank that is empty. They said thats really just a over flow tank and should be low anyway, is that right? I opened the radiator (when cold) and on my garages advise topped up the radiator, it took 250ml and then it was ...

No Coolant!

I noticed water dripping out of my van from underneath in the centre a few days ago, I thought this was just where the air con had been on. I've just driven down to Devon and back and once home just thought I'd check my van over. I opened the coolant and their dosent seem to be any coolant in there ...

Re: Van keeps cutting out

The fuel filter was changed in Feb so not too long ago.
It happened again! this time stuck in the fast lane in traffic on the M5! I did take the fuel cap off but this made no difference.
The wierd thing is when it eventually starts the accelerator seems not to work and it just sputters out again ...

Re: Van keeps cutting out

Thanks Ian! Ive read julians post's, my problem seems to be a bit different but could be the same thing. The van is'nt losing power when I drive at all though, it's just when it comes to a stand still that it seems there isnt enough revs to keep the engine ticking over. (the rev meter sometimes goes ...

When I try to start it, it turns over fine but won't start, after a few attempts it evetually starts, When is starts again the rev's go up but then it ...

Re: Belt broken!

Are the belts easy to fit yourself or is it best done by a garage?

Re: Trouble starting...sometimes

there really seems no rhyme or reason to it. Sometimes it totally fine and then it won't start. Might change the glow plugs anyway...is that an easy job or a garage job? :(

Re: Squeaking wheel

This turned out to be a wheel hub. Where the past owner had replaced the bearings he had slightly bent the hub which was rubbing. I found a replacement hub on ebay and had it fitted and everythings tickerty boo....for now!
Thanks for posting though Tay!

Click sound when I brake

When I press the brake there is quite a loud click sound. When I brake at faster speeds it doesn't happen only when it's doing anything upto 30mph. I've taken it to the garage and they can't find fault with it at all. If any of you have a clue I'd really appreciate it. [-o<

Trouble starting...sometimes

Belt broken!

New to bongo's so please forgive the lack of technical term's!!...be gentle!
I was just checking my oil when I noticed what looked like a broken cable sticking out from underneath, I started to pull it and a belt came out all shredded! On closer inspection it turns out to be the lower belt (not the ...
