Re: V6 petrol not starting

Distributor cap, rotor and HT lead (from coil) replaced - now all working lovely. I sprayed the cap, leads and coil with copious amounts of water as the engine was running and it carried on fine. So I hope that's it. Staring down from the passenger side at the exhaust, the state of the catalytic co...

Service Manual

Does anyone have a Service Manual that we could buy/borrow/rent? Our beloved Bongo requires some serious rust remedial work otherwise it’s curtains for the old girl and we don’t want to let her go just yet.
Thanks for reading, best wishes

Does anyone out there in Bongoland have one that we can buy/borrow/rent please? With thanks and fingers crossed, The ...

Mission accomplished - thank you all, it took a teenager! My big issue now is the leak from the gearbox and the exorbitant cost a new set of hoses.

Re: Replacing Internal Bulbs

Thank you Geoff but I meant the long light in the middle of the roof however I'm sure the principle applies. Here go my lugs!

Replacing Internal Bulbs

This might seem a bit on the pathetic side of competent but I need to replace the bulb in the light in the back. I have a new bulb and thought you just squeezed the sides of the plastic cover together to get to the bulb but it won't budge. Do I just need to get a grip, man up and show it who's boss ...

Re: Need a new head gasket ??????

I used Simon Robottom of Contract Mechanics, as recommended elsewhere on this site, and he was brilliant. Our head gasket went a few weeks ago and he came from Warwickshire to Durham and fixed ours in one day. It's like a new engine all the symptoms you've identified will go away, it now runs smooth...
