How to communicate mileage when selling?
I'm selling my Bongo and naturally, websites are asking for the mileage. I have posted the mileage shown on the MOT certificates (145000miles). However, the counter is really showing km (this wasn't addressed on import when the milometer was adapted). We were told this on purchase and we know this i...

Bongo Selling Tips
Sadly the time has come to move on from owning a Bongo and we will be selling ours in the next few weeks. Does anyone have any tips on how to sell a bongo? For convenience, we like the idea of selling to a campervan dealer as it saves time and hassle and I accept that will mean a lower price. Howeve...

Re: Broken AFT motors-roof stuck
Thanks guys.
My friend had a suitable wrench and we've managed to strap the roof down.
We had the motors repaired a few years back. Next step is to get them replaced

Broken AFT motors-roof stuck
Were on a campsite and we cant get the aft down. I think one of the motors has packed up. It's stuck so high we'll have to get it towed as we cant drive it. I've used a garage just outside manchester who fixed our aft before but cant recall his name. Can anyone suggest what we can do and a garage we...

Re: Sidedoor stuck!!!
Thank you. The connectors are fine. We've checked they're clean and can move freely too.
I'll check the fuses in the morning. Thanks for the picture (big help) There's nothing at all from the soft lock when we shut the door so I wonder if it is a fuse. We have a full set of spares with us.

Re: Sidedoor stuck!!!
Thanks Geoff. Hopefully it's not the battery as we had a brand new one put in before we left but it does sound like the mechanism hasn't rotated fully. As we've got it opening and closing we will try this in a few days when we're back in the UK. Hopefully we can get it rotating ourselves.

Re: Sidedoor stuck!!!
Got the back pannel off and wiggled everything. Used a bit of force and it's open. It will now open and close. It also locks and unlocks ok but the soft lock isn't working. Doesnt make a sound or anything. Hopefully that will see us and through the holiday and I'll get the soft lock seen to at home....

Sidedoor stuck!!!
We're traveling round Brittany and our side door won't open! I have my keys on a lanyard and they got shut in the door when I closed it. Managed to wrestle the keys out (they don't look too damaged) but the door won't open. When the keys were stuck the lock wasn't doing anything but now it does appe...

Re: AFT issue. Roof wont fully close.
That's awesome thank you! . Bury isn't far at all.I'll give him a ring.
I think the roof should stay put if we take it easy. A rope round the windows was our thought too. We'll give that a go.

AFT issue. Roof wont fully close.
On a trip to Scotland. At first the AFT wouldn't open the last couple of inches. Yesterday a cable came out of the arm of the roof tent. We got the roof almost down but not completely. It's shut on the passenger side but not on the driver side. The wind on the motorway was lifting it. Comments on a ...

Re: Connecting a fridge to leisure battery
Thanks yes it will work on 12v. I think the next step is to see if I can find anyone local-ish that can take a look and advise us on how to connect it up to either the leisure battery (or gas is an option)
