V6 not running right

Just been away for the weekend van was fine but on the drive home seems to have lost a bit of power and feels like a fluttering sensation when accelerating, also when pulling to a stop but still in drive the revs seem to flutter as if it wants to cut out (although it doesn't) slip it into park and t...

Strange idle / fluttering sensation

A few days ago my 2.5 petrol v6 started fluttering (best way I can describe it) when in drive but stationary, van drives as normal and sits at about 800 revs when in park but as soon as put into drive the revs drop down to about 400, drive off fine and gears are changing as normal but when pulling t...

Rear thermal screen

Hi got a set of thermal window screens when I bought the van for the windscreen and front doors, the tailgate window has a set of curtains but they don't seem to block out much sun so would like to get an extra thermal screen for the tailgate, anyone know where I could buy one on its own rather than...

Re: Has the world gone mad?

Phoned them up day and asked for a refund to be told they do not offer refunds, ok switch me to another site ? Sorry all our other sites have a minimum stay of 2 nights! Told them as far as I'm concerned a campsite without a toilet is just a field ! They didn't agree ! Have put in a complaint to the...

Re: Has the world gone mad?

Thanks for the tip I'll give calshot a go and cancel set thorns I think, surely a campsite without toilets or showers is in fact a car park or maybe a field!

Has the world gone mad?

Booked a weeks camping in August with sites in Dorset, Dartmoor and exmoor all paid up, wanted an overnight stay on the first night near to the new forest as we will be catching a late ferry from the Isle of Wight and won't get to any of our chosen sites in time that evening, we saw set thorns on th...

Extreme Windscreen wipers

When I put my windscreen wipers on they are very fierce and the one on the drivers side actually goes off the edge of windscreen onto the pillar ! Tried adjusting but they just went back to how they were after a few wipes, any tips on shortening the sweep of the wipers?

Re: coolant levels V6

Out of interest, who did you use? I'm still looking for a specialist on the island. Dropped the van to a local bongo specialist for a full service and check up, mentioned the coolant levels and asked him to double check all well, van came back with a clean bill of health, he said its in fantastic c...

Re: Roof issue

If it keeps whirring then something is slipping. Either a motor, or its worm drive. Mine doesn't stop beeping but it stops whirring. It can't quite reach the point where the microswitch is hit and the beeping stops. Doesn't make any odds though , and means it can come down without having to press t...

Quick night away, fair drive there and back and used the awning and all is still rock solid still so looks like the silkaflex and bolt have done the job, so nice to just pull the awning out when needed, great addition to the van

Re: Roof issue

Gutted, had the roof working fine in the week, gave the runners a clean and grease and the roof was going up in a reasonable time, went camping Saturday night and couldn't get the roof fully open! It goes all the way up till the roof alarm stops but the second you let go of the switch it starts beep...
