That's pretty cool. I had to look the car up, it's a Suzuki Spacia Custom. I've not heard of them before.

If I recall, Denise is Phil's other half and seemed to be personable and organised. Good luck!

Re: JAL Conversions - again Not able to contact them.
When I bought mine there was another contact number on the paperwork under the DVLA/logbooks section:
"Please do call Denise direct on Home number 01386 7**** late afternoons or evenings"
This was 2015 mind you so things might have changed but maybe check your spreadsheet?

Re: Newbie: talk to me please about water!
My fresh water and waste water tanks are inside the van, in the cupboard under my kitchen unit. They are small so easy to fill and empty so I just drain them after a trip and leave the tanks empty. I wanted to be self contained, rather than have an external water supply and bucket for grey water, so...

Re: Awnings
Hi, thinking of getting the Loopo Breeze, as you can get a 2 man inner tent. Hard to see on the photos, but this sleep tent takes up half the awning. Would you say that leaves enough room for 2 people to sit in the other side while the inner tent is up? Trying to recreate the size in the lounge wit...

Thanks for the reminder Jill. I booked and got the email confirmation. I assume I just pay at the pub when I arrive?Jillygumbo wrote: ↑Mon Feb 17, 2020 11:19 am It's started to get close now. Don't forget you need to book in with the pub to secure your spot. List in the first post is being updated regularly.

Re: Off to Scotland
I forgot to mention a couple of handy websites: On the way to / from Skye you will pass through the vast district of Lochaber, where it would be rude not to linger. Great info here: https://www.wildlochaber.com/ And if it is the best of the crop of mainland beaches in this area (Moidart, Ardnamurch...

Re: Fitting a wireless reversing camera - advice please :)
Thank you both for the advice. I will take a look at the rear cluster and positioning of the camera over the weekend - hopefully the weather will dry up a bit!

Fitting a wireless reversing camera - advice please :)
Hi, I have just bought a Boscam K1 wireless reversing camera as now that my new rock and roll bed has been fitted, the view out the back window is more restricted. In theory, the camera just needs to be connected to the wiring to one of the reversing lights to get it's power supply. Can anyone advis...
