I got one of those seats a few months ago - I love it! It does just fit using the standard four bolts onto the regular runners, so I doubt there would be a requirement for professional fitting.
I have my old seat if you need one, you can have it free - where are you based? I'm near Edinburgh.

Re: Eberspacher - heat output
Thanks, it is the smart controller and does read error codes etc. which is why I knew it had blown out (flame failure). They did rest the exhaust a bit, so I'll see how I fare in winds now.

Eberspacher - heat output
Hi,
I recently got an Eberspacher fitted to my Bongo (new Eberspacher, petrol version fitted by a registered dealer).
It seems to work ok, I've had a few instances of it giving errors in high winds (I think the wind is blowing up the exhaust and extinguishing the flame) and it doesn't seem to like ...

Re: Steering problem
Thanks folks, the fluid level looks bang on, I couldn't see a pump belt, but not 100% sure where I am looking, although I don't think it's the power steering cutting in and out - it doesn't seem as severe as that.
I put some grease on the CV steering joint on the column under the dashboard, and ...

Steering problem
Hi folks,
I wonder if you can provide a bit of advice - the other day I noticed that my steering doesn't seem to be smooth. When turning the wheel a significant amount, for example a 90 degree turn, the stiffness experienced whilst turning the wheel changes - i.e. the effort required to turn varies ...

Re: Roof Mattress
Hopefully I can shed some light after recent experiments in this area!
I have a similar conversion to the one that you mention, except its from Tranzwagon - its very similar with a rear kitchen unit, and the seat boxes and table. I just added a Northstar swivel bench seat too - it's great!

Re: Seatbelts different types?
Thanks Simon, appreciate that.
I swapped just the two sockets for the main 3-point seatbelts over and they are working fine now.
Thanks again!

Seatbelts different types?
Hi,
I've just received a swivelling bench seat from Northstar conversions, it's great, I really like the ability to turn bench around but move it back for when I need passengers in the back. However, my seatbelts don't seem to fit in the 'sockets'! Are there different types? It is a rear bench that ...

Re: Self inflating mattress with rear conversion
So I took the plunge and bought a Vango Comfort 10 Grande. Was around £50 in Decathlon.
It fits ok on the drivers side with the chair forward and tilted forward, it does overlap the centre console a little, but seems like it would be fine to sleep on. The 10cm depth takes a lot of the lumps and ...

Self inflating mattress with rear conversion
Hi folks,
I've got a rear conversion (takes up around 50cm) and has a table which drops down on to a couple of seat box cover type seats, which form a bed when the middle row is laid flat.
Has anyone with a similar setup found a decent, thick, self inflating mattress to use in that space? I'm a ...

Tranzwagon Conversion
Hi folks, new Bongo owner (a '97 V6) with a Tranzwagon 'Deluxe Compact' hopefully arriving today! I've also got the seat boxes and table, cupboard and a Smev 9222 coming.
I'll update this with pics and info once I get it installed.
