Just thought I would chip in here because I did this recently and had an interesting experience!
I like the look of Mazda RX8 wheels (17"), and read some people here on BongoFury using them, so I bought a set on ebay. The tyres I use are very low profile (scared me a bit at first!) but they have ...

Re: Manual to digital heater controls
Hello again. And thanks for getting back to me.
Yeah, I did some more research and decided to scrap the idea! So, now I have a digital air con controller and no use for it! Back to ebay...

Manual to digital heater controls
Hello,
Does anyone have any experience with replacing the manual heater controls with digital heater controls?
I have bought a digital control panel for the front without doing any research, and now I fear I may have wasted my money and bitten off more than I can chew!
The main issue seems to be ...

Re: That old chestnut: Body kits
Ok - Excuse my total ignorance, but according to some stats I have just read, the Bongo wheelbase is 2920mm. This is the same as a VW T4 (again what I have read just now). Would skirts for a T4 fit the Bongo?
Anyone have any experience of this?

Re: That old chestnut: Body kits
Ooooohh. Thanks for that - I quite like that idea. Simple, but effective! Would that be the same as this?

Re: That old chestnut: Body kits
Thanks all.
That's interesting about the other cars front which fit.
To be honest tho, I quite like the Bongo original front anyway... It's the sides mainly (and rear slightly less so).
Have considered doing the aero kit, but since mine is 1996 version it would need a lot of parts (and I don't ...

That old chestnut: Body kits
Hello.
I am looking for a body kit for my 96 Bongo but they seem to be like gold dust.
I've tried a couple of breakers and I am on a couple of 'waiting lists' but I am not holding my breath! I am also pretty sure that custom-built ones will be way out of my price-range... In saying that, I am ...
