Big thanks to all, had a fabulous weekend meeting new & old friends and putting faces to names. Great Saturday afternoon chewing the fat & replacing my radio aerial with Northernbongolow, it's still not perfect, but much better than it was! Huge congratulations to Dennis for winning Bongonau...

Re: Dummies guide to replacing a leisure battery......

Perfect job =D> and useful info for anybody with an inside battery. Its also good you only have to vent one side, because the left side might have been a bit tight. Disappointed you didn't elect to go down the fish tank piping route, Nimo in the sink ... non-stop entertainment whilst camping....

Re: Dummies guide to replacing a leisure battery......

The story of a strange lady (in the nicest possible sense) coming up to me at the Bash knowing my name and where I live is one that Mrs M is dining out on  Of course, I'll certainly pop in your replacement. Give me a shout as soon as the battery arrives - Tayna are pretty quick.  Th...

Re: Dummies guide to replacing a leisure battery......

Thanks so much for your reply Bob - eeek sounds scary! #-o Bob's advice to disconnect the earth (negative) first makes it safer when undoing the positive. Chris, I met you & your wife at Stourport - it was me that lost my ecigarette! #-o I too live in Chippenham, I gave you a wave the other aft...
