Re: Mystery Sockets

The only things i recall that are around that area when stripping my panels out were with those kind of connectors where, 12v cigarette lighter socket, Speaker connectors and wiring to the sliding door.

Re: AFT lifting speed

I timed it earlier at 32 seconds...guess im just impatient....so what mods does one need to get from 0 to finish in 20seconds lol

To be honest id never saw any other roof mechanism lift up before so was just curious if the speed was normal which it obviously is

Re: AFT lifting speed

Ive always had the engine running as ive seen the amperage rating for the motors... Its just seems slow...mine is a little slower around the same time as bongolia im guessing.. I will time it. Guess im just being impatient....30 seconds can seem like a long time when you have your finger on the button

AFT lifting speed

I have not owned my bongo for as long as many of tou on here so maybe you can shed some light on this for me. My AFT lifts up the roof really quite slowly and was wondering if this is just a thing with bongos or are my motors are on the way out in which case ill just replace them?

Re: Black and Green Bongo

Since the clocks went forward the sun has been out to play and i thot i would give the solar panel a test, so ive had the waeco cr50 fridge freezer on constantly since sunday to see how well the solar panel can keep the 120amph bat...

Re: Air filter

Are people with side conversions really not able to get the front seat off?? What happens to yearly maintenance or having to work on the engine?? Are the seats still bolted to the hinges then??

Heated Shower

Has anyone ever bought anything to make a heated shower, whether it be a solar shower, water heater or gas shower and have any reviews to share? Going to glastonbury this year and the queues for showers at any festival are notoriously long and never ending so now i have bought an awning , i plan to ...

Re: Making an awning Driveaway-able

I do not yet own a Bongo but I have had VW campers (same as the one in the picture ^^^) with a couple of different drive away awnings. TBH fitting the figure of 8 was easy and became routine. I left mine attached to the awning and just snapped it back to the van gutter once back in place. One thing...

Making an awning Driveaway-able

So...went to the Caravan and camping show last Friday at the NEC, lots and lots of cool stuff there and well, after all my concerns about an awning damaging the paintwork I got duped into buying one by the missus. Ended up with this inflatable one here http://www.questleisure.com/index.php/products/...

Re: Black and Green Bongo

Looked so good I've bought the same but with a Lensun dual battery control unit. What did you use to bond the panel to the roof ? I'm thinking black sikoflex but am worried at the damage I'd do if I ever had to remove it. Be sure Interested to hear your thoughts. Ahh good to know ive helped someone...

Re: What is this?

I have one of these under the drivers footwell too, now i had hoped at first glance that this was an odb2 port but mine was rectangle in shape rather than trapeze, which could indicate odb(1) as that was rectangular. Gonna have to have another look now. Can you get a pic face on so we can see the sh...
