Leisure Battery
Hi Folks I am looking to get a leisure battery purchased and installed to my Bongo. The battery would just be for running a small heater and interior lights for when a hook up isn't available. How much wold I expect this to cost me? Also, if anyone in the Edinburgh area wants to do it as a homer let...

Rear Seat Query
I have recently purchased a unconverted Bongo and have a query regarding the rear seat set up. Basically I have rotated the first row of seats to face the rear of the van (facing rear seats) so I could put a foldable table in between. The problem I have is when laying the two rows of seats flat to m...

Re: Hawick Bongo Dealer
He also tried telling me he sold 7 in the week I was there. Many of the 7 he flagged as being sold have since reappeard on Gumtree, which suggests he lied or the buyers pulled out. Neither would surprise me. I ended up putting down a deposit on fresh import from Calder Campers, yes it costed me slig...

MOT History Query
Hi Folks, Has anyone ever encountered issues with mileage on the online MOT history checker? I am looking at a vehicle that shows the odometer reading in km for its first 2 MOT's since registered in the UK (i appreciate this will be the case for imports). However the 3rd MOT odometer reading changes...

Re: Repair to Cross Member
That's the route I am going to go down. Managed to source a freshly imported Freda for £5,500 (2002) 47,000km on the clock. Plus I get warranty thrown in.
Then get the fun of planning my own conversion.

Re: Repair to Cross Member
Cheers for all the feedback decided against it. I felt the price tag was a little high (£6,500+) given the age (1995) mileage (120km+) and the fact the MOT history is a little scary.

Re: Repair to Cross Member
The MOT advisory describes the front cross member as holed. Going to view the vehicle this week but I just wanted to get a feel for cost before.
First Bongo so a little apprehensive about parting substantial money for something that could cost lots to repair.

I went to see this guy and I would be very wary about buying anything from him. I personally felt.he tries to hide a lot of problems from you and it's not until you start digging the truth is uncovered.
They are priced cheap for a reason.

Ford Freda Query
Good morning all,
Quick question, is there much difference between the Bongo and the Freda other than the badge?
Also, anyone got any experience in purchasing either a Freda or Bongo from the Tranent dealership (East Lothian).
Notice they have some fresh imports that are reasonably priced.
