Yes the switch comes out easily. If you press it either way you can we the tab at the other end which holds it in. I pulled the tab back with a small screwdriver and pulled out easily.

Success. Removed switch and disassembled. Contacts were dirty and smothered in grease.
Everything cleaned, reassembled and now working..

Roof AFT problems
Apologies if this has been covered before.
1997 AFT diesel auto.
When I try to raise the AFT absolutely nothing happens.
I have checked the handbrake switch which is fine. I have checked the 30amp fuse no. 12 its fine.
There is no bleep and no voltage drop across the battery.
Any ideas?
